LOCATION: SPIRIT LOFT - 290 Carlaw Ave #201, Toronto, ON M4M 3L1 (Up the Stairs)

PARKING: Paid Parking Available on Carlaw or if you can find in the neighbouring streets.

It all begins with the breath. Many of us don’t allow ourselves to breathe fully and truly tune into our bodies. We live in a world that forces us to continuously push through our problems and shove them down until our body speaks back to us through injury, burnout, and exhaustion. Just to name a few.

The style of breathwork that I do, is known as Clarity Breathwork (TM). It’s a gentle breathing technique that helps you tap into your subconscious to allow for healing and transformation. It goes deep into our nervous system, where we store our emotions, old energies, patterns, conditioning, negative thoughts, and beliefs to allow for greater healing.

When we start to breathe fully and consciously, we can release what we have been holding onto. This will, in turn, help to expand our consciousness and allow for greater self-love and forgiveness.

What to bring/wear:

  • Eye mask

  • Water bottle

  • Journal or something to write in/on (there will be some reflection at the beginning)

  • Relaxed clothing

Contra-indications (since we are getting deep into our nervous system. Please consult a medical professional to see if you can/are able to take part):

  • Asthma – mild or medium (bring your inhalator!)

  • Pregnancy – (let us know of your stage)

  • High blood pressure

  • History of surgery or physical injury

  • Thyroid condition

  • Diabetes – (bring your glucose)

  • History of seizure

  • PTSD

  • Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychiatric condition

  • Actively using recreational drugs or medication that alters brain chemistry – painkillers, anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, stimulants, hallucinogens, etc.

  • Recent surgery or recent physical injury – (depends, advice with your therapist)
